Operational leaders working directly in the field
-
Industry partners
Policy + Advocacy
Advancing practical improvements that reflect how forestry actually operates on the ground.
Partnership in Action
Strengthening collaboration between First Nations and industry to deliver better outcomes.
Stewardship in Practice
Supporting land management approaches that integrate Indigenous knowledge with modern forestry practices.
Operational Solutions
Focusing on real-world approaches that work
on the ground and for communities.

Why it Matters
There is a growing gap between policy intent and operational reality in British Columbia’s forest sector. The FMC works to close that gap by bringing forward solutions from those directly managing forests, ensuring that stewardship, economic opportunity, and long-term sustainability can coexist and succeed.
